Welcome to Long Range Ranch, where we proudly raise Pembroke Welsh Corgi Puppies in Missouri and AKC Miniature American Shepherds while continuing our family’s tradition of quality livestock production. As a professional Corgi breeder in Missouri and professional Mini American Shepherd breeder, we are committed to producing healthy, well-socialized puppies with excellent conformation and outstanding temperaments. Several of our puppies have even gone on to become successful therapy dogs.
In addition to our breeding program, we continue to improve our land, cow herd, and replacement heifer program. Once or twice each year, we offer quality replacement heifers with Black Angus genetics. We focus on raising gentle, easy-to-work cattle that make excellent additions to any herd.
Throughout the year, we occasionally have Welsh Corgi puppies in Missouri, Mini American Shepherd puppies in Missouri, adult Corgis available, and adult Mini American Shepherds available. When you come to pick up your puppy, we encourage you to make time to enjoy the natural beauty of our part of Missouri. Every puppy grows up in the fresh country air and receives daily attention and early socialization, and meet AKC breed standards. We are licensed through the Missouri Animal Care Program and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and we can safely ship puppies throughout the United States.
More Than Just Dogs
Our genetic tested Corgis are screened for DM, EIC, and vWD1. We carefully select breeding pairs to ensure no affected puppies are produced.
Our genetic tested Miniature American Shepherds are tested through Paw Print Genetics using a full genetic panel. Like our Corgis, every breeding is carefully planned using those results. In addition, all breeding dogs have their hips and elbows evaluated to help reduce the risk of hereditary orthopedic conditions.
Several of our adult dogs have competed in conformation and rally events. First and foremost, however, they are beloved family companions and farm dogs. They enjoy running on our acreage, interacting with livestock, and growing up in a loving environment. Their happy, confident personalities are something we are proud to pass on to every litter.
Long Range Ranch has been recognized as a Missouri Blue Ribbon Kennel for several years. This designation recognizes breeders who meet specific standards established by the State of Missouri and the USDA. We are proud to maintain those standards each year as we continue raising healthy, well-socialized puppies with exceptional care.

Our Corgis are outgoing, intelligent, and full of personality despite their small stature. Originally bred as herding dogs, they are confident, alert, and deeply devoted to their families. Our AKC Welsh Corgi puppies are raised to become affectionate companions with excellent temperaments and strong social skills.
While compact, Pembroke Welsh Corgis are active and surprisingly athletic. They enjoy regular walks, playtime, and mental stimulation to stay happy and healthy. Their intelligence makes them highly trainable, although they can have a stubborn streak, so positive, consistent training works best. Miniature American Shepherds
AKC Miniature American Shepherds are smart, energetic, and incredibly devoted companions. Bred from smaller Australian Shepherd lines, they possess the same herding instincts, athletic ability, and intelligence in a more compact size. Our genetic tested Miniature American Shepherds are raised to be loyal family companions with excellent temperaments.
Because they are highly intelligent and active, Miniature American Shepherds thrive with regular exercise and mental stimulation. They excel in training, agility, rally, and other performance events. Through responsible breeding, early socialization, and health testing, our Mini American Shepherd puppies in Missouri grow into confident, well-rounded adults. We also occasionally have adult Mini American Shepherds available for approved homes.
